On this special day, WIN was proud to participate in the 33rd Annual Memorial Day Parade in Canoga Park — a heartfelt community tradition dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.
A Day of Unity, Tribute, and Pride
As we marched alongside local veterans, families, and supporters, the spirit of remembrance filled the streets. The parade offered a moment to reflect on the cost of freedom — and to honor the lives of those who gave everything to defend it.
A highlight of the day was receiving special recognition from Councilman Bob Blumenfield, who honored our mission and presence in front of the cheering community. We were also deeply moved to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our good friend David Fox from the West Valley Marine Corps League, along with many other local veteran-led organizations.
Carrying the Mission Forward
Memorial Day is more than a holiday — it’s a sacred reminder of why WIN exists. Our work to support transitioning veterans is rooted in honoring those who served before us and ensuring no veteran is left behind.
Whether through parades, mentorship, or career support, we remain committed to preserving the legacy of our fallen heroes by uplifting those who still carry the weight of service.
“We remember them by the way we live — and by the way we serve one another.”
Thank you to everyone who showed up, waved a flag, and stood in gratitude with us.
Thank you to all of our sponsors for their continued support of WIN.
