WIN Meet & Greet

Celebrating Our First Cohort’s Milestones with Community, Purpose, and a P-51 Auction

On November 7, 2024, Warriors In Need (WIN) brought together our aviation partners, community supporters, and veterans for a powerful evening of connection and purpose. Our Milestones Meet & Greet honored the dedication of our first program cohort — veterans stepping boldly into new careers in aviation.

A Night to Remember

One of the highlights of the evening was our P‑51 Mustang flight auction — a rare experience that sparked both excitement and generous giving. Supporters stepped up to help us continue the mission: preparing veterans for successful transitions into civilian aviation careers.

We also had the honor of presenting Snap-on toolkits to our WIN program participants. These tools aren’t just gear — they’re a signal of readiness, professionalism, and forward momentum.

Special thanks to Atlantic Aviation for donating the use of their Van Nuys facility, and to Kelly Partners for sponsoring both the live big band and the bar. These contributions helped create an evening to remember — and to build on.

Partnership, Progress, and What’s Ahead

Every veteran’s journey looks a little different. Some have already launched into roles in the aviation field. Others are still completing training. What they all share is a commitment to mission, excellence, and brotherhood.

We’re proud to recognize StandardAero as a trusted industry partner — standing shoulder to shoulder with us in building meaningful pipelines from the military to the hangar floor.

“At WIN, we don’t just support veterans. We train them, equip them, and walk with them as they take their next post — in the civilian world.”

To All Who Stand With Us — Thank You

This event was more than a celebration — it was a reminder of what’s possible when we invest in those who’ve served. Thank you for showing up, bidding high, and believing in the mission. Semper Fi — and see you at the next one.

Thank you to all of our sponsors for their continued support of WIN.
